My entire life I have loved to create, make & craft. This coupled with my life long love for teddy bears is almost certainly the reason why I have fallen in love with bear making.
In 2014 I bought a kit to create a keepsake bear for my daughter; she loved "Ginger" but I could see all the imperfections in him which lead me to strive for better. Many hours of researching & a course with a truly inspirational couple have sown the seed of addiction.
I am now a self confessed mohair, alpaca and faux fur addict & these high quality fabrics inspire my designs whilst trying to stay true to the teddy bear by using traditional bear making methods.
As families tend to do, the Monton's have grown in numbers & to enable me to continue to satisfy my addiction for making I made the decision to offer my bears for adoption.
