It's starting to look a lot like Christmas here in the Monton workshop; there's a couple more days of designing and experimenting I should be able to squeeze in before the children break up from school. Hugglets is just around the corner and I cant wait to introduce some new bears.
Check out the available page - there is 10% off all bears (excluding mini's) and an additional 10% off all the sale bears too!!
With just a few days left the final preparations are well under way here at the Monton Bear work shop. The last few tummies are being stuffed, growlers being inserted and sparkles being sprinkled. I shall try to get a group photo of all the new bears on the website & Facebook page tomorrow.
I have 4 free entry tickets to the Sheffield Teddy Bear Fair on the 19th November. If you are planning to go please email me using the contact form on my contact page and the first 4 people to email me will get a ticket emailed to them :-)
Wow what a day yesterday was; my first experience at Hugglet's was truly amazing. I would like to thank everybody who took the time to look at my bears and to all that adopted a Monton Bear or a Monton Wild Cousin. A very special thank you also to Jean & Bill Ashburner who invited me to share their stand at their very final show. Now to plan for the next show!
I will be taking all of my realistic style bears to Hugglets this weekend but if there are any traditional style bears that are in my store that you particularly want me to bring along please let me know by Saturday morning so I can load it in the car. Look forward to meeting you all.
I have very exciting news; the bears and I have been invited to exhibit at Hugglets this September! We will be on stand 84 and would love you to come and see us.
Here's a mini realistic bear design I've been working on. His a dinky 8cm from nose to tail. There are few changes I plan to make but I would love to hear what you lovely people think of him.
I am very pleased and excited to announce that I won an Alfonzo award this weekend for my entry of Tobias in the novice 'Bears with a profession' category. I also received a highly commended certificate for my entry of Poppy in the 'naturalistic' category.
It was a truly fantastic weekend and festival and I was very lucky to meet lots of amazing bear artists and collectors.
